Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team beat Kishwaukee 90-82 on Tuesday night.

The Spartans improve to 4-7 in its overall record.

Four scored double digits including Xavior Gonzalez with a season-high 36 points, Davee Flowers with 14, Tristan Walton scored 11 and Josiah Mayes had 10 points.

Other team leaders included Gonzalez in steals (seven), Flowers and Mayes in rebounds (six), Mayes in assists (four) and Immanuel Brown and Tristan Walton in blocks with one apiece.

Elgin commanded the game as they stayed in the lead for almost the duration. Its big 50 point second half solidified the victory.

The Spartans return to action to host Carl Sandburg on Jan. 3 at 3 p.m.
