Ladies Fall to Cayuga

Erie Community College basketball took on Cauyga Community College on the road over the weekend.   Lillian Patterson had a double double, but it wasn't enough to lead the lady Kats to a win as Erie lost 72-49.  Patterson had 12 points, 10 rebounds and added three assists. Skye Lee also put up 10 points and added five rebounds of her own while Gianna Krupp had nine points and eight rebounds.

Erie men's basketball got back into the win column with a victory over the Spartans 76-51.

David Stroud and Olivier Ngarukiyintwari both put up double doubles in the win. Ngarukiyintwari recorded 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead Erie while Stroud had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Taesyn Slating was also in double digits in points with 12.

The ladies are back in action on Tuesday when they host Roberts Wesleyan JV at the Flickinger Center for a 6:30 pm tip-off.

The men are off for the Thanksgiving break and return to action on Wednesday, December 4th with a trip to SUNY Broome Community College.
