The Jefferson Women's Basketball team secured their advance to the NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Semi-Finals with a 79-73 win in double overtime over Hostos Community College. The Lady Cannoneers had 4 sophomores scoring double digits; LaKaiya Butcher (19), Delaney Wiley (17), Kori Nichols (13), and Abby Raven (13). Abby also secured 15 rebounds for the Lady Cannoneers. The ladies will face the last year's National Champions #3 Lady Bluejays of Minnesota West Community College today at 6:00 pm (CT)/7:00 pm (EST). The winner of this match up will face the winner of the Rochester and Anoka-Ramsey game in the National Championship Game which will be held Saturday, March 15th at 2:00 pm (CT)/3:00 pm (EST).
