WVU Potomac State College put on an offensive show, defeating Catawba Valley Community College 14-2 in a dominating five-inning mercy-rule victory. Potomac State scored early and often, taking a commanding 5-0 lead after the first inning and never letting up.

The Potomac State offense was relentless, capitalizing on mistakes and producing timely hits to pile on the runs. Potomac State added 9 runs in the second inning alone, including a 3-run homer from Braylee Corbin, who finished the game with 5 RBIs.

The Potomac State offense was aggressive and productive, with Corbin's home run being the highlight of their offensive onslaught. Mowry, Massie, and Ochoa all had multi-hit games, with Massie and Ochoa each driving in a pair of runs. Ochoa also contributed by stealing a base and scoring twice. Chloe Greise was stellar in the circle, throwing a complete-game shutout over 5 innings, allowing only 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out 7 batters. Greise's command of the game kept Catawba Valley's offense in check, limiting them to just a handful of baserunners.
