
Saints Split Season Series with Polk
Polk State traveled to Gainesville for the second game between the two teams in conference play this season. In game one of the series Polk State knocked off Santa Fe in overtime.

Santa Fe used a big night from Ryan Webster knocking off Polk State College 80-67. Polk State jumped out to an early lead in the opening minutes of the ball game, but a good stretch for the Saints evened it up till the end of the first half. The Saints took a 40-39 lead into the halftime break. In the second half it was all Saints as they jumped out to a lead and were able to hold a six-point advantage all the second half. Connor Morris put an exclamation point on the ball game with a dunk during the last possession.
Webster led the way for the Saints with 24 points. This surpasses Webster's career-high in points at Santa Fe. Morris went for 22 points. Morris knocked in four shots from beyond the arc. Predrag Panisic also was in double-figures with 18 points. Karmello Branch went for a career-high 14 rebounds in the contest.
The Saints are back in action on Saturday afternoon when Florida SouthWestern comes to Gainesville for a 4:00 PM tip.
