The Hudson Valley women's basketball came back to defeat Mohawk Valley late in the 4th quarter at home on Wednesday night.
The Vikings were led by Abigayle Yetto and Leah Pergola each with 19 points. Yetto also contributed 8 steals, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block for the Vikings. Pergola had 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks as well. Coming off the bench, Lila Christensen and Sanaiya Adams made their way to the top of the score sheet. Christensen had 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal, while Adams followed with 12 points, 2 rebounds, a steal, and an assist.
The Vikings faced a tough Mohawk Valley team with Nataya McGee scoring 20 and Shayla Baker adding 18 for the Hawks.
The Vikings return home on Saturday, December 7th at 1pm as they face Cayuga, the men's game will follow at 3pm.
