Lions Maul Wolfpack

Your CCBC Dundalk Lions defeated Westmoreland County Community College 81-69 to advance to 9-4 on the year and 4-2 in the conference.

 

With finals completed, the only thing standing between the Lions and winter break were the Westmorland County Community College Wolfpack. The Lions held the lead for the entire contest with the only tie coming at 2-2. Despite being up 10-4 less than five minutes into the game, all the starters were pulled for the Lions. Anthony McCall, Jr. came off the bench scoring 7 straight points for the Lions. The Lions would find their largest lead of the game (14) after Malachi Washington made both free throws with less than seven minutes remaining in the first half. The Lions would end the half up 41-31. Westmoreland came out of the break ready to go, cutting the Lions lead down to five, 45-40 off of a three. The Lions would jump right back out to a 51-40 lead and cruise to the finish line before winning 81-69.

 

Hussain Williams was the leading scorer with 26 points, 5 rebounds and a steal

Christopher Scott lead the Lions in assist and rebounds with 6 and 9 respectively while scoring 4

Alex Obase scored 19 with a team leading 9 boards

Malachi Washington recorded 6 points, 1 block also had 9 rebounds
