Sugar Grove, River Grove and Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team faced Waubonsee, Triton and McHenry this week.

The Spartans move to 5-10 overall and 1-1 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference play.

Tristan Walton netted a season-best 28 points with four others scoring double-digits, including Xavior Gonzalez, Jalan Alphonse, Angel Nunez and Josiah Mayes.

Other team leaders included Mayes in rebounds (nine), Gonzalez in steals (three) and Max Fessler, Gonzalez and Walton in assists (four).

Nov. 8: ECC 64, No. 19 Triton 104

Gonzalez scored a team-high 25 points with eight rebounds as Mayes registered five assists and Alphonse tallied four steals.

Nov. 9: McHenry 89, ECC 100

Immanuel Brown netted a season-high 32 points with six three's.
