Grizzlies Grab Win Over Cloud County on Sophomore Day
EL DORADO, Kan. – Butler volleyball closed out its regular season home slate on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Cloud County Thunderbirds 3-1 (25-15, 25-27, 25-13, 25-21) at the Power Plant.

The match served as sophomore day for the nine Grizzly sophomores who were honored in a pre-match ceremony. The good times rolled on as the Grizzlies (17-14, 9-6 KJCCC) rolled to their fifth straight win defeating the T-Birds in four sets.
Butler was led by Sarah Sullivan's 15 kills and 14 digs, her third consecutive double-double. Avery DeLong added 11 kills and nine digs while Ryann Hamilton had 10 kills and four blocks. Anja Milosevic paced the Grizzlies with 31 assists also adding 14 digs.
Butler held Cloud County to just .081 hitting, forcing 28 errors.
The Grizzlies are set to close out the 2024 regular season on Saturday, Nov. 2nd when they travel to Pratt for a 2 p.m. match at the Beaver Dome.
