Spartans Women’s Basketball Drops Home Contest to Grand View JV

The Southwestern Spartans women's basketball team fell to Grand View University JV, 69-43, on November 21 at home, dropping to 1-5 on the season. Despite strong individual performances from Brooklyn Hadl and Gabby Dwanyen, the Spartans were unable to overcome Grand View's balanced attack.

Southwestern trailed 15-13 after the first quarter but faced offensive struggles in the second, scoring just 8 points and heading into halftime down 25-21. Grand View JV found their rhythm in the second half, outscoring the Spartans 22-16 in the third quarter and closing with a 22-6 run in the fourth.
