Women's Basketball: NIACC Classic Gives Raiders Trouble

The CCC Women's Basketball went to Mason City, Iowa and played in the NIACC Classic over the weekend. A recap of both matches are below.

Game 1 vs. NIACC Community College

The Raiders were bested by NIACC 59-105 in their first game. CCC struggled answering the three point shooting of NIACC. Rebounding was tough for CCC as well which made it hard to keep possessions extended. The Raiders were led by Delaney Regg with 9 rebounds and 5 assists, both team highs. Ajae McKimmey had the team high for scoring with 17.

Game 2 vs. Iowa Lakes Community College

The Raiders were beaten by Johnson County 57-84. CCC struggled shooting the ball here, while Iowa Lakes went 40% from 3. The Raiders were led by Lexi Fiscus with 17 points, and Ajae McKimmey with a team high 11 rebounds. Fiscus and McKimmey both double-doubled.

The Women's Basketball team is back in action on Nov. 26 at McCook Community College
