In a dominant performance, Potomac State shut out Surry Community College 13-0 in a five-inning contest. The Potomac State offense was explosive, while their pitching  completely shut down Surry's bats.

The game was never in doubt as Potomac State jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first inning, then added to their lead in the third (3 runs), the fourth (2 runs), and the fifth (5 runs) to seal the win by the mercy rule after five innings.
