Mays Landing, NJ. – Jyheim Spencer had 16 points with 15 rebounds with Tamir Powell adding a career high 18 points as the Salem Community College men's basketball topped Region 19 foe Atlantic Cape Community College 88-72. The Mighty Oaks have now won five in a row and improve to 14-4 on the season.

Akeem Taylor was right behind Powell scoring 17 points with a team high 5 assists. Tyrese Fortune also registered a double double scoring 14 points and pulling down 11 boards for the Mighty Oaks. 

Salem will continue their run of Region 19 opponents when they will face off against Passaic County Community Saturday at DuPont Fieldhouse on the campus of SCC. Tip off is slated for 12:00.
