WARREN, Mich. - The Mott Community College women's basketball team traveled to Macomb Community College for a MCCAA Eastern Conference matchup on Thursday in Warren, Mich.
After falling behind by 13 at the break, the Bears cut the deficit to eight heading to the fourth quarter. Macomb outscored Mott 16-7 in the final frame and held on for a 66-49 win.
The loss drops Mott to 11-13 overall and 1-9 in the MCCAA. The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday.
Mott Highlights:

Kyndall Dotson led the Bears with 13 points, five rebounds, five assists, and four steals.

Ella Prevost added 12 points and three steals.

Ali Anderson recorded eight points and five rebounds, while Chloe Thompson finished with a team-high 13 boards.

Tamia Taylor chipped in with five rebounds off the bench.

The Bears shot 17-of-60 from the field, 6-of-21 from deep, and 9-of-14 at the line.

The Bears return home to face Wayne County Community College District at 5:30 pm on Monday at the Ballenger Fieldhouse. The game was moved from Saturday due to weather conditions.
