PLYMOUTH, IN – A slow start in the first quarter was all it took for Marian University Ancilla to pull away, as the Chargers defeated the Community Christian College Women's Basketball team 84-29.
The loss dropped the Lady Lions to 1-9 overall, while Ancilla improved to 10-1.
Zipporah Johnson led Community Christian with 8 points, including four free throws. Dasia Croft lead in rebounds, recording eleven.
Ancilla dominated the turnover game, only committing 12 while the Lady Lions had 31.
Community Christian will return to action on Saturday, December 21st at 1pm against Wayne County Community College.
