Bulldogs take three of four from Kaskaskia Blue Devils

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Bulldogs took three of four games with Kaskaskia here Friday and Saturday in Goodman.

In game one Saturday, Aidan Bellman got the start and suffered the loss. Jude Stringer also pitched in the game. Azemar had a homerun while Nicolas Schwing added a double.

In game two Saturday, John Paul Buckner got the start and picked up the win. Josh Fleming and Braxton Demopulos also pitched in the game. Myles led with two hits. 

In game one Friday, Holton Hartzog picked up the win. Seth Terrell went three innings. Myles led with three hits including a homerun. Nicolas Schwing added a double.

In game two Friday, Ethan Trimble got the start. Maddox Moreland and Vince Glorioso also pitched and Glorioso picked up the win. Conley and Myles each had three hits with each adding a double. Azemer had a homerun. 

Against Millsaps JV on Monday, the Bulldogs won 7-2 and 16-3. Josh Fleming picked up the win on the mound in game one. Eli Lowe also pitched in the game. Thomas Kuhn led with three hits while Amari Conley and Cade Clinton each had two with Conley adding a homerun and Clinton adding a double. Hunter Azemar had a homerun in the game. In game two, Brenden Skirtech picked up the win. J.P. Lyon, Carson Moon and Vince Glorioso also pitched in the game. Myles led with four hits including a homerun and two doubles. Nicolas Schwing had two hits. Azemar added a double.

The Bulldogs opened the 2025 season with two come-from-behind wins winning 4-3 and 6-5 over Nunez.

Bellman got the start in game one. Terrell also pitched in the game and picked up the win. Myles and Sam Roy led with two hits with Roy adding a double. Azemar had a homerun while Kuhn added a double.

In game two, Buckner got the start. Hartzo and Demopulos also pitched in the game with Demopulos picking up the win. Conley, Schwing, Kuhn and Roy each had two hits. Schwing had a triple while Conley added a double.
