Men's Basketball Dominates Pitt CC
Winterville, NC - Cleveland Community College secured a decisive 90-65 win over Pitt Community College on November 9, 2024, in an afternoon matchup at the Coburn Center. The victory was highlighted by an explosive second-half performance, with Cleveland outscoring Pitt 62-40 after leading by just three points at halftime.
The game started relatively even, with Cleveland leading 28-25 at the break. Both teams struggled with efficiency, but Cleveland's superior shooting from beyond the arc and the free-throw line helped them maintain a slim advantage. The teams were neck and neck in rebounds and assists, but Cleveland held a slight edge in field goal shooting. In the second half, Cleveland came out firing on all cylinders.
