Hartley lifts Potomac State to split at Marietta

Marietta, OH- Lance Hartley pitched 4 2/3 innings, striking out seven and allowing just two hits to lift Potomac State to a 6-2 win over Marietta on Monday afternoon. 
 
Hunter Krotzer came on in relief of Hartley and pitched two strong innings, with three punch-outs and just one hit allowed.  Chris Harbert came in to retire the final hitter and pick up the save.
 
Tanner Haskeill led Potomac State with a pair of hits and two walks. 
 
The Catamounts scored single runs in four straight innings to build a 4-0 lead.
 
Marietta cut the lead to 4-2 in the fifth inning with a pair of runs led by an RBI single from Eric Wilson. 
 
The Catamounts added two insurance runs in the top of the seventh on RBIs from Caden Johnson and Jordan Canby.
 
In the opener, PSC fell 3-2.  The Catamounts committed three errors and mustered just four hits. 
 
Braden Sloan led PSC with a pair of singles.
 
Reilly Bubb and Lex Wescott drove in PSC's two runs.
