In a dominant offensive performance, Potomac State defeated Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute 14-6 in a game where the Catamounts' hitters came alive in the later innings.

The Catamounts scored early, taking a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, but Caldwell responded with 2 runs of their own. The Catamounts then erupted for a 4-run second inning, and although Caldwell would fight back, the Potomac State offense proved too strong, adding another 2 runs in the third and 4 more in the sixth to secure the win.

  • Lindsay Mowry had an exceptional game, going 4-for-5 with a home run, 3 RBIs, and 2 doubles.
  • Jamie Kelly powered the offense with 3 hits, including 2 home runs and 4 RBIs.
  • Ashton Spiker added a home run, 2 RBIs, and a sac fly.
  • Chloe Greise picked up the win, pitching a complete game, allowing 6 runs (4 earned), and striking out 6 batters.

In a game that saw a late fifth inning push by Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute, the Catamounts were unable to overcome the late surge, falling 9-6 in a hard-fought contest.

The game started with Caldwell taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning, and Potomac State responded with a single run in the second. The Catamounts gained momentum, scoring 4 runs in the fourth inning to take a 5-2 lead. However, Caldwell responded with a 6 runs in the fifth inning. Despite a late rally in the seventh by Potomac State, the game ended with a final score of 9-6.

  • Braylee Corbin delivered a standout performance, going 1-for-4 with a home run, 2 RBIs, and 1 run scored.
  • Jamie Kelly added a home run and was 1-for-3 at the plate, though her efforts were not enough to lift her team.
  • Ashton Spiker had a solid day at the plate with 2 hits and 1 run scored, also stealing a base.
  • Lacie Miller took the loss, pitching 6 innings and giving up 9 runs (8 earned) on 10 hits. She also struck out 2 batters and allowed 1 home run.
