Lumberjacks Get First Win of Season

ACC's women's basketball team picked a great time for their first win of the 2024-25 season - their home opener. The Lumberjacks downed Detroit Community Christian College, 76-37 on Saturday afternoon.

Saige Flaugher led all scorers with 27 points, including 18 in the first half leading ACC to a 37-25 halftime lead. Flaugher also grabbed seven rebounds.

Jena Wambold scored 20, hitting three three-pointers on seven attempts. Bryce Roy tallied 16 on four for four three-point shooting and pulled down six rebounds. Jessie Ross scored nine points. Allison Cece had a team-high eight rebounds.

Anna Herbolsheimer contributed six rebounds and four steals. Cierra Tetz also had six rebounds.

ACC (1-2) plays next on Friday, Nov. 29 at Glen Oaks Community College.
