Knights avenge lone conference loss with 99-61 rout of Bristol

Haverhill, MA (January 21, 2025) – The #8 nationally ranked Northern Essex men's basketball team picked up their 15th straight win of the season and their 42nd straight at home as they improved to 17-2 overall and 12-1 in conference play with 99-61 rout of Bristol and in the process avenged their lone conference loss on the season.

The Knights slowly opened the advantage in the game's first half before taking a 20 point lead into the locker room at halftime at 49-29, before outscoring the Bayhawks by a 50-32 total in the second half.

Alejandro Delgado (Haverhill) scored a game high 23 points to go along with 10 rebounds for a double-double effort.

Javien Kirmil (Lowell) and Alex Johnson (Worcester) joined Delgado in double figures as they recorded 11 and 10 respectively.

Ryan Pacy (Salem, MA) had all around strong effort as he picked up five assists, to go along with four steals and six points.

The Knights will return to the court on Saturday when they play host to Community College of Rhode Island at 2:00pm in the second half of a men's and women's double header.
