Your CCBC Men's Basketball Team picked up an exciting 79-75 win over Chesapeake College on Wednesday night, thanks to a thrilling second-half comeback. The victory boosts their record to 11-7 overall and 7-3 in conference play.

The first half of the game was an intense, back-and-forth battle, with both teams coming out swinging and showcasing their skill. #11 Christopher Scott delivered an impressive performance, scoring 20 points, pulling down 7 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists. His all-around game was a key factor in keeping the Lions competitive. #20 Alex Obase also played a crucial role, putting up 11 points and just missing a double-double with 9 rebounds. His presence on the boards was vital for the Lions, especially as they fought to stay in the game. As a team, the Lions shot 48% from the field in the first half, demonstrating their shooting ability when they get hot. However, despite their strong shooting and some solid individual performances, they still found themselves trailing by 5 going into the break.

The Lions came out of halftime with a renewed sense of urgency, completely dominating the second half to pull away for the victory. They outscored the Skipjacks by 9 points in the half, showcasing their ability to adjust and execute when it mattered most. #5 Xavier Barrow was a key catalyst for the Lions' strong second-half performance, scoring 12 of his 17 points.
