Feb. 25 – Independence Community College at Sedalia
SEDALIA, Mo. – The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners opened their home schedule with a doubleheader sweep of Independence Community College on Tuesday, Feb. 25. SFCC won the opener 10-0 and took game two 10-2 in five innings.
In game one, freshman outfielder Carley Conrad of Edwardsville, Kansas, led SFCC with four hits, including a double, two runs scored, an RBI, and a stolen base. Sophomore pitcher/first baseman Kiara Sodini of Lee's Summit had two hits, including a home run and a double, three RBIs, and two runs scored. Sophomore catcher/third baseman Lia Hill of Lee's Summit had two hits, an RBI, and a run scored. Sophomore third baseman Myla Inman of Washington homered and drove in three runs. Sophomore outfielder/middle infielder Jordan Crooks of Leeton stole a base.
Freshman pitcher/shortstop Valerie Meyer of Hughesville tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing three hits, striking out six, and walking three.
In game two, SFCC launched three home runs. Crooks led the offense with three hits, including a home run, two RBIs, two runs scored, and a stolen base. Sophomore first baseman/second baseman Danika Sickle of Grain Valley had two hits, an RBI, and a run scored. Meyer homered and drove in four runs. Freshman first baseman/pitcher Courtney Dehn of Dearborn also homered and had an RBI. Sophomore middle infielder/outfielder Emily Burke of Cole Camp, Meyer, freshman catcher/outfielder Katlyn Starke of Linn, and freshman outfielder/utility player Anna Davis of Friedheim each stole a base.
Freshman pitcher Zoe Donahue of Mountain Home, Arkansas, pitched a complete game, allowing five hits and two unearned runs while striking out six and walking one.

March 2 – Kansas City Kansas Community College at Kansas City, Kansas
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – SFCC (2-4) dropped both games of a doubleheader against Kansas City Kansas Community College on Saturday, March 2. The Lady Roadrunners lost a close 4-3 decision in the opener before falling 11-1 in five innings in game two.
In game one, Crooks recorded three hits and a run scored. Freshman infielder/utility player Jenna Herald of Monett had two hits, two RBIs, and two stolen bases. Sophomore utility player Bailey Haselhorst of Kansas City had a hit and a stolen base. Meyer added a hit and a run scored. Conrad also scored and stole a base. Sodini stole a base.
Donahue started in the circle, pitching six innings and allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits while striking out four and walking three. Freshman pitcher/first baseman Elana Clark of Maysville pitched two-thirds of an inning, giving up two runs on two hits and walking three.
In game two, SFCC managed just one run on three hits. Inman doubled, scored a run, and stole a base. Burke also doubled, while freshman utility player Ally Burk of Mount Vernon recorded a hit.
Meyer started for SFCC, pitching 1 1/3 innings and allowing seven runs on six hits while striking out one and walking three. Dehn pitched 2 2/3 innings in relief, allowing four runs on three hits with two strikeouts and four walks.
