IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Eastfield men's basketball team knocked off No. 11 Dallas College North Lake, 50-49, Wednesday night on the road.
It was the Harvester Bees' first Dallas Athletic Conference victory of the season, and it snapped the Blazers' 24-game conference winning streak, dating back to Feb. 9, 2022.
Eastfield (2-12, 1-2 DAC) overcame a 10-point deficit in the second half to pull out the win. Delkedric Holmes had 16 points, six rebounds, four steals and three assists, and Devin Holmes added 13 points and three steals for the Harvesters. Reggie McDonald scored eight points.
The Bees outrebounded the Blazers, 39-30.
North Lake's Autavius Hobbs finished with 22 points, going 8-for-8 from the free throw line. Anden Holmes had 10 points and eight boards.
Following Saturday's game at No 10 Dallas College Richland, the Harvester Bees host Dallas College Cedar Valley 6 p.m. Wednesday to complete the first of three rounds of conference play.
