Lady Greyhounds Drop Game at SAU Tech
The first game back for the Lady Greyhounds as they traveled to East Camden to take on the defending Region 2 Champions in SAU Tech.

ASU Mid-South had a slow start in the first quarter only scoring 7 points, but was able to flip the script in the 2nd quarter. After 1, SAU Tech help a 17-7 lead, but the Lady Greyhounds got their offense going outscoring the Lady Rockets 16-12 in the 2nd quarter to pull within 6 heading into intermission.
It showed that SAU Tech was not happy with their performance to end the first half and came out strong to start the 3rd quarter. Their defense locked in as they held ASU Mid-South to just 6 points in the quarter while scoring 20 for themself really putting some seperation between ASU Mid-South. It was much of the same in the 4th quarter as the Lady Rockets just proved to be too much for the Lady Greyhounds earning the 68-39 win.
SAU Tech was led by Ja'Niya Harper's 18 points and 9 rebounds. Ny'Asia Jackson scored 17 and dished out a game high 9 assists. Ja'Daeya Larry and Zaccheya Jackson each scored 8.
London Robinson led ASU Mid-South with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Lula-Jae Tranfaglia scored 7 and pulled down 7 rebounds. Richara Cooper and Charalyn Rester each scored 5. Sage Singleton with 2.
ASU Mid-South drops to 0-13 and 0-3 in Region 2 play.
The Lady Greyhounds are scheduled to host Shorter College Thursday, January 9 at 5:30.
