Game 1: Lady Warriors Walk It Off, 5-4
Trailing 4-1 heading into the bottom of the seventh, the Lady Warriors staged an impressive rally to snatch victory from Marion Military. Game 2: Pitching and Defense Secure 2-1 Win
The second matchup of the day turned into a defensive showdown, with the Lady Warriors edging out Marion Military 2-1 behind a dominant pitching performance from Macy Nordstrom. Nordstrom went the distance, striking out 10 while allowing just one unearned run on three hits.
East Central grabbed an early 1-0 lead in the first inning and added an insurance run in the fourth, thanks to key contributions from Maleigh Lemings and Kayleigh Karel. Marion Military threatened late, but strong defensive plays and Nordstrom's poise on the mound sealed the sweep.
With the two victories, the Lady Warriors continue to build momentum as they prepare for their next matchup next Wednesday against the visiting Northwest-Shoals Community College.
