Santa Fe took a trip to Daytona State for games two and three of the regular season series.

Daytona Beach, FL
In game one of the days double header, Santa Fe beat Daytona State 7-1. Santa Fe struck in the top of the first inning for two runs on a Javier Soto homerun. The offenses went quiet until the bottom of the fourth inning when the Falcons scored a solo run. The Saints used a three spot in the fifth inning and followed it up with a run in both the sixth and seventh innings to complete the victory in game one.
Matt Pagan was given the ball and the start for the seven-inning game. Pagan went all7.0 innings allowing three hits and one run. Pagan struck out five batters and walked four in the win. Three of the top four hitters in the SF lineup had two hits. Trey Freeman, Robert Nedry, and Soto were all the Saints with multiple hits. Soto highlighted the lineup going 2-4 driving in three runs and scoring one himself. Nedry also struck for two RBI.
In game two of the doubleheader the Saints used early scoring to take a 5-2 win. The Saints relied on their arms to get them to the finish line in the third game of the conference series. The Saints took a 4-1 lead after three innings. In the bottom of the fourth inning Daytona State scored their final run of the game. The Saints added a run in the sixth to take the win.
Erik Blair went 3-5, scoring two runs and driving in two. Blair used the long ball in an at-bat to drive himself in. Rex Smith went 2-3 driving in two runs. Santa Fe went to Lucas Johns to start the series finale. Johns went 6.0 innings allowing two hit and two runs in the start. Johns walked four and struck one out. Dylan Lovelace was the first arm out of the bullpen. Lovelace went 2.0 innings allowing two hits, striking out three and walking one. Macklin Miller was the third guy on the bump for SF going 1.0 inning allowing one hit and striking out one.
The Saints are back in action on Tuesday versus FSCJ in Gainesville at 2:00 PM.
