Newark, NJ. – Sophomores Kathryn Laurence and Maggie St.Clair led the Mighty Oaks women's basketball team to a big conference road win. Laurence scored a career high 26 points for the Mighty Oaks while St.Clair scored a season high 20 points hitting the game winning lay up with 30 seconds left in the game. With the win the Mighty Oaks move back to 500 on the season with an 8-8 record.

Laurence led all scorers with her 26 going an impressive 9 for 15 from the field.  St. Clair shot 10 for 20 on the day. Jaykala Jenkins led Salem in rebounds with 7. Nyaijah Jackson came up one point shy of double figures contributing 9 points in the SCC win.

The Mighty Oaks continue their play off push when they will travel to Delaware Technical Community College January 21 with a 6:00PM tip off at DTCC.
