Game 1: 5-1 Win

Ben McKinnon puts the Cavaliers on his back and goes a complete game in game 1 of the doubleheader to secure the victory for the Cavaliers by a score of 5-1. Ben McKinnon went 7 complete innings only surrendering 3 hits and 1 run. 8 total Cavaliers recorded a hit in the contest. The offense was led by Dylan Biddick who recorded 2 hits. Parker Gwyn, Dylan Biddick, Jacob Gillis, Gianluca Montanaro and Jacob Poletto all recorded RBI's. 

Game 2: 7-6 Loss

The Cavaliers had to battle back late in the game to take it into the bottom of the 9th with a chance to win it. Although falling short the Cavaliers battled and almost came away with a win. Dylan Biddick, Hayden Stringfellow and Daniel Pinkerton all recorded 2 hits. Garett Blanchard went 5.2 innings allowing 7 hits, struck out 5 and allowed 3 earned runs. Zander Bretza, Jake Guidry, Brandon Levy and Bryson Menard all had an appearance out of the bullpen. 

The Cavaliers are back in action Wednesday against Panola College. First pitch is set for 2 pm in Carthage, Tx.
