Stinger Softball Snaps Losing Streak with 6-4 Win Over Caldwell Community College

Florence-Darlington Technical College secured a 6-4 victory over Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute in Game 1 of a doubleheader, marking the end of a four-game losing streak.

After trailing in the first inning, the Stingers mounted a comeback, scoring one run in the third and adding five more in the fourth. Isabel Allen and Camryn Jordan played key roles in the rally, each driving in two RBIs. Hayleigh Atkinson and Madison Rainwater also contributed with an RBI apiece.

Mackenzie Kubas pitched a complete game for FDTC, allowing eight hits and four earned runs while striking out 11 batters. Larissa Siders made her presence felt on the bases, stealing two bases. Despite one defensive error, the Stingers held their lead and secured the victory with effective hitting and smart base running.
