Saints Win Offensive Battle
Saints break the century mark on offense for the first time this season.
Gainesville, FL
Santa Fe knocked off Mid Florida Academy in a barn burner 102-78 in Gainesville on Tuesday night. The two teams were neck and neck all the first half, as SF took a one-point lead into the break. In the second half, the Mid Florida Academy offense cooled off, but the same can not be said for the Saints, as they scored 58 points in the second half.
Santa Fe had a season-high four players in double figures, including Ryan Webster and Connor Morris, who both scored more than 20 points. Morris led the way offensively with 27 points, scoring 15 from behind the arc. Webster scored 23 points, including nine points from behind the arc. Predrag Panisic and Israel Bosenge were the other Saints in double figures. Panisic had 16 points, while Bosenge had 12.
Santa Fe had a total of 12 made three-point baskets and scored just six points from the charity stripe in the ball game.
The Saints are back in action following Thanksgiving week with a road game at Pasco-Hernando State College on December 2nd at 6:00 PM.
