ARNOLD, Md. – The Anne Arundel Community College men's basketball team closed out the regular season Tuesday evening in Jenkins Gym with an 86-68 loss to visiting CCBC Dundalk.

Angelo Harris led AACC with 23 points, sinking four of six three-pointers. Miles Evans added 18, scoring 13 of 16 at the free throw line. Devon Marshall recorded his fifth double-double of the season with a 14-point, 10-rebound effort.

The Riverhawks rallied from nine points down to carry a 38-36 lead into halftime, but the Lions used a 13-point run midway through the second half to take command of the game.

Down nine in the first half, the Riverhawks went on a 9-2 run to get within three points, 25-22, with just under seven minutes left. A Harris three-pointer later brought AACC within two before the teams traded buckets. Miles Evans sank a pair of free throws with under three to play to tie it up, and later gave the Riverhawks their first lead of the night with a layup with 1:23 left on the clock. And it was Miles Evans again that pushed AACC ahead at the break, sinking a three-pointer with 18 seconds left in the half.

The teams traded the lead three times before Dundalk's 13-point run. Harris put the Riverhawks within seven points with a four-point play with 8:58 left in the half.

The Lions' Xavier Barrow then scored three consecutive three-pointers to put CCBC Dundalk back ahead by 16.

Dundalk held a slim lead in rebounding in the game, 36-34, netting 16 second-chance points. The Lions generated almost half of their points in the paint, and turned 20 AACC turnovers into 25 points.
