Santa Fe falls to 1-3 on the season after Saturday afternoon's 90-66 win for Tallahassee State College (3-0). The Eagles jumped out to a 17-point lead midway through the first half. The Saints and Karmello Branch had an answer down the stretch cutting the lead to eight points a minute into the second half. A run for Tallahassee extended their lead back to 15 before the Eagles ran away with it late.
The Saints were led by Branch with 26 points, including five three point makes. Mike Drayton got the Saints going early in the first half with 10 points and finished with 16 total in the ball game.
The Saints are back in action Wednesday at 7:00 PM against Florida Gateway here in Gainesville, FL.
