The women's basketball team traveled to Brockton, MA to take part in the Northeast Cup tournament hosted by Massasoit Community College.
In the opening contest on Saturday, the Lady Raiders took on Monroe University-Bronx. FMCC fell to the Express, 75-59. Quincy Lake led FM with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Angelina Deitz followed with 16 points and 4 assists. Shiasia Williams tallied a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds.
On Sunday, FM played UMaine-Augusta. Quincy Lake led again with 20 points and 4 steals. Williams had another double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds and Nataynia McLeod contributed 11 points off the bench. The Lady Raiders fell to the moose, 69-50.
In the Monday consolation game, FM matched up with Kingsborough for the second time this season. The Lady Raiders battled but came up short in the loss. Williams had her third straight double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
FMCC will return to action on Sunday, November 17th when they begin their Region 3 schedule. They will travel to take on the Corning Red Barons with a 1:00 p.m. tip.
