SUNY Niagara improves to 5-0

SUNY Niagara finished 3-0 at this past weekend's annual Personal Best Athletics Classic hosted by Allegany College of Maryland. The Thunderwolves, who were receiving votes in the preseason NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 5-0 overall. The Wolves return to action at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when they visit non-conference foe Cuyahoga Community College. 

SUNY Niagara 109, Allegany College of Maryland 102

Freshman guard Chioke Marshall canned a game-high 32 points as the T-Wolves stormed back from a 20-point first-half deficit. Marshall finished 18-of-18 from the free-throw line in the win. Sophomores Camron Dyer and Jamyier Patton each netted 19 points and freshman Sir Patrick Livingston added 15 points off the bench.

SUNY Niagara 96, WVU Potomac State College 87

The SUNY Niagara backcourt dominated the Div. II matchup as Marshall scored 25 points, Patton added 17 and sophomore Jalen Duff chipped in with 16. 

SUNY Niagara 79, Harford CC 72

Patton scored 27 points as the Thunderwolves knocked off their second Div. I opponent of the weekend. Duff added 16 points, Marshall netted 12 and Dyer had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
