Apaches Secure Close Win Against Seahawks

Port Arthur, TX- The Apaches travel to Port Arthur to face conference opponent Lamar State-Port Arthur Seahawks in a close game.

The Apaches surged ahead early, taking a commanding 40–27 lead by halftime. However, the Seahawks mounted a second-half comeback, outscoring the Apaches 48–37. Despite the late pressure, the Apaches held on to secure a hard-fought 77–75 victory.

Several players stood out in the thrilling win:

• Caden Bell: 18 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds
• Chris Uwayo Jr.: 14 points, 2 assists
• Joey Brown: 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 assists
• Luis Gil: 10 points off the bench

Bell and Brown have been standout performers all season, each averaging 14.4 points per game, with Uwayo Jr. close behind at 12.9 points per game.

The Apaches will return to action after the holiday break, hosting Coastal Bend on January 4th at 4 p.m.
