The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 10-7 overall and 3-5 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play with an 86-78 win over 9th ranked Ellsworth.
The Lakers were led by Jhordan Ryan with 20 points and 16 rebounds. Termaine Fulton added 19, Jermaine Freeman added 15, and Ashton Hermann added 13.
Ellsworth was led by Jonovan Wilkinson led the way with 19 points for Ellsworth.
"Really proud of our guy's effort tonight on the glass. Ellsworth does a really good job of putting pressure on the rim with their dribble drive and we did a good job cleaning up the glass. Guys did a good job of handing adversity when Ellsworth made their runs and we made plays down the stretch."
The Lakers will travel to Marshalltown on Wednesday to take on Marshalltown. Tip for that game will be at 7:30 pm.
