The MCC women's basketball team traveled to Cornerstone University Thursday night to play against the JV Golden Eagles. Starting off at a slow pace featuring many steals but few rebounds, the Jayhawks then took a halftime of reflection. Stand outs for the game were sophomore TyVeonna Davis (#23) dominating the game with 34 points, 11 steals, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Along with Freshman Anna Lundquist (#30) with 14 points and 7 rebounds.
Quote from Head Coach Jason Cooper: "I'm happy with the win tonight. We are still working on playing hard for all four quarters of the game, but we are a work in progress."
The Lady Jayhawks play this Saturday, November 16th, at home versus Milwaukee Tech @1:00 in the Bartels-Rode Gymnasium.
