Mott claims 8th straight MCCAA Eastern title
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - The Mott Community College volleyball team clinched the MCCAA Eastern Conference regular season championship with a sweep of Oakland Community College on Monday.
The Bears won 25-20, 26-24, 25-14 to claim the outright MCCAA Eastern title with a perfect 10-0 record with two matches remaining. The Bears are 21-4 overall and have won 17 straight matches.
The title is the eighth straight and 17th overall for the Bears.

Courtney Nye led the Bears with nine kills and a .308 hitting percentage.

Reigning MCCAA Eastern Offensive Player of the Week Ruby Earl added eight kills, 13 digs, and two total blocks.

Chloe Vanwinkle finished with seven kills and 10 digs.

Montgomery Rotter recorded dive kills and 10 digs, while Brooklynn Wilcox added 12 digs.

Skylar Cramer finished with 30 assists.
