Haverhill, MA (February 8, 2025) – All seventeen players in uniform for the #8 nationally ranked Northern Essex Community College men's basketball recorded at least three points or more as the Knights jumped on the Cougars from the opening tip and never looked back to improve their record to 21-2 overall and 16-1 in conference play.

NECC jumped out to a quick 17-2 lead before taking a 35-point halftime lead into the locker room at halftime 66-31.

Four Knights shared the team high in points as Karl Wolfgang, Christian Sanders (Boston), Xavier Rivera (Lowell) and Alp Gyuler (Istanbul, TR) each finished with 12.

Strong defensive pressure forced 22 turnovers in the Knights favor.

NECC will return to the court on Tuesday evening for a matchup of nationally ranked teams as Quincy College will travel to the Sport and Fitness Center for a 6:00pm tip-off.
