North Central Missouri College put on an impressive offensive display, securing a 96-82 victory over Jefferson College behind a dominant performance from Jon Carroll. Carroll was unstoppable, leading all scorers with 31 points on an efficient 14-of-21 shooting while also controlling the boards with a game-high 16 rebounds. His impact extended beyond scoring and rebounding, as he also dished out six assists and recorded three blocks, anchoring North Central on both ends of the floor.
Tyler King provided a strong complementary scoring effort, dropping 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting and converting all four of his free-throw attempts. His presence in the paint and ability to finish at the rim helped stretch North Central's lead. Camden Bennett also made his mark with 15 points and eight rebounds, showing his versatility in attacking the glass and creating second-chance opportunities.
Giovanni Mack orchestrated the offense with precision, tallying a team-high nine assists while adding 12 points and two steals. His ability to distribute the ball kept Jefferson's defense off balance, allowing North Central to maintain an efficient offensive rhythm. Off the bench, Mikey Thomas made the most of his opportunities, scoring six points and handing out six assists in limited action, while Deng Gak contributed seven points and four rebounds.
North Central's offense was firing on all cylinders, shooting an impressive 56.9% from the field. Though they struggled from beyond the arc (3-for-11), their dominance inside and at the free-throw line (84.6%) more than made up for it. Their rebounding advantage (40-26) and ball movement (28 assists) were key factors in the win.
Despite Jefferson College's effort, led by Nick Davis' 24 points and 11 rebounds, they couldn't keep pace with North Central's efficiency. Cole Rickermann added 17 points, while Kade Harman provided a spark off the bench with 13, but Jefferson's shooting struggles (42.3% overall, 27.0% from three) prevented them from closing the gap.
With a balanced offensive attack and a dominant inside presence, North Central Missouri College secured a well-earned win, showcasing their depth and playmaking ability as they continue their strong season.
