
Trojans fall to No. 4 Bears
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 72-62 decision to No. 4 DMACC Saturday afternoon in an ICCAC contest in the NIACC gym.
NIACC trailed 35-19 at the half and outscored the Bears 43-37 in the second half.
DMACC was led by Da'Shon Fisher with 19 points. Trevian Carson was next in line for the Bears with 15 points.
Sophomore guard Omarion Roberts led the Trojans with 19 points. He also had seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks.
Also for the Trojans, Jaheim Savage scored 13 points and Brayden Drea scored 11 points.
NIACC's Zion Wright had seven rebounds and two steals to go with his seven points.
NIACC (17-11 overall, 8-9 in the ICCAC) wraps up its regular season on Wednesday in an ICCAC contest at Iowa Lakes. Game time in Estherville is slated for 7:30 p.m.
