
Santa Fe Drops Game to Daytona State
Daytona State traveled to Gainesville for the second conference meeting between the two teams.

Santa Fe trailed by as much as ten in the second half but fought back to make things close down the stretch as Daytona State knocks off Santa Fe 65-63. Both teams had a slow offensive start but picked it up in the final three quarters. Daytona State led 14-9 after one quarter, but Santa Fe took a 27-25 lead into the halftime break. A 25-point third quarter by Daytona State gave them a nine-point lead after three quarters. The Saints battled back outscoring Daytona State by five in the final quarter, but it wasn't enough as the Falcons knock off SF.
The Saints were led by Micah Hannah with 18 points in the loss. Taija Lloyd finished with twelve points as the second leading scorer in the game.
The Saints are back in action on Wednesday evening when Eastern Florida State College comes to town. The tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
