Colby fell to #13 Cowley 83-76

COLBY, Kan—The Colby Trojans played Cowley County Community College in a close game that ended with a final score of 83-76 in favor of Cowley County. The Trojans put up a good fight throughout the game but ultimately fell short. The loss brings Colby's overall record to 8-4, with a 1-3 conference record.

The game started with Colby taking an early lead, outscoring Cowley County 37-32 in the first half. However, Cowley County came back strong in the second half, Eternity Eguagie was a standout player for Colby, leading the team with 23 points. Nana Keutcha also had a strong performance, contributing 7 rebounds and 10 points. Despite their efforts, the Trojans were unable to overcome Cowley County's strong offense led by Marcus Whitlock Jr, who scored an impressive 32 points.

 The Trojans will be getting back with another game against Butler on Wednesday, December 11th  at 7:30 PM CST at Butler Community College.
