#4 Eagles Win OT Thriller in Council Bluffs

Council Bluffs, IA- The Kirkwood Eagles come out with the win in OT to start Conference play!

Tate Petersen led in scoring in this contest as he logged 14 points. Zach Erwin paced the Eagles with a double-double 13 points and setting his career-high in rebounds with 16. Richard Lindsey Jr. contributed 13 points and Lucas Lueth finished with 12 points.

The Eagles found themselves making half of their attempts from the 3 point line, going (11-22) with Lueth connecting with 3 made three pointers. Erwin, Petersen and Lindsey each making two a piece from the arc contributing to the 11 makes to the efficient shooting.

Kirkwood dominated the Reivers on the boards by 24, Eagles out rebounded the Reivers 46-22 for the game. Zach Erwin lead with 16, Traijan Sain pulled down 9 rebounds.

Eagles face off against the Iowa Central Tritons this upcoming Wednesday at Johnson Hall, 7:30PM tip-off.
