Men's Lacrosse Falls to No. 3 CCBC Essex

BALTIMORE, Md. – The No. 3 CCBC Essex men's lacrosse team defeated visiting Anne Arundel Community College, 16-3, in a Region 20 game Wednesday evening. Tyson Miller and Sahil Lengade each had a goal and assist for the Riverhawks. Gavin Raspa added a goal and Jamari Evans chipped in with an assist.

Essex scored the first seven goals of the game before Lengade broke the streak with 1:24 left in the first half. Raspa halted a four-goal Essex spree with a man-up goal with 2:28 left in the third. Miller capped the scoring off an assist from Lengade with 4:15 left in the fourth.

Parrish Fleming made 19 saves in the first three quarters. Robert Duda stopped three shots in the final frame.

AACC cleared the ball at a 27-for-32 rate and totaled 28 shots in the game. Nathan Krueger had two caused turnovers for AACC, as Essex turned the ball over 23 times.

The Riverhawks close out the regular season at home on Saturday, April 12. AACC hosts Tompkins Cortland in a 10 a.m. game.
