PLANO — Bella Belong scored a game-high 19 points as No. 13 South Plains bested Tyler 79-48 Saturday at Cougar Gymnasium to improve to 9-1 on the season.
The Lady Texans will be back on the floor on Monday when they host Wayland Baptist JV at 6 p.m. at the Dome.
Isabel Joai netted 12 points for South Plains, while Taliah Cornish finished with 11 points. Saturday's win makes the ninth consecutive victory for South Plains dating back to Nov. 2.
