FLINT - The Mott Community College men's basketball team returned home to host Kellogg Community College on Friday at the Ballenger Fieldhouse.
The Bears fell behind in the first half, trailing by 14 at the break. Mott battled back in the second half, cutting the deficit to three with just over four minutes to play. The Bruins closed the game on an 8-2 run and held on to escape with a 72-63 victory.
The loss drops Mott to 5-3 overall this season.

Justin Mims led the way for the Bears with 17 points on 7-of-14 shooting.

Teon Armstrong added 12 points and three steals.

Kimari Barden finished with 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds, while Kevin Tiggs Jr. added nine points.

Miles Beard hit a pair of 3-pointers to finish with eight points off the bench.

The Bears shot 24-of-56 from the field, 5-of-23 from deep, and 10-of-15 at the line.
