Although the Cyclones had some shining moments, errors hurt them in a doubleheader loss to Triton College.

GAME ONE
In addition to Cyclones' fielding errors, the Trojans just had some big hits, including three homeruns in the fourth inning, to deal Moraine Valley a 20-6 loss.

The bright spots came in the top of the third and fourth innings when Stephanie Lohman (2-for-2, RBI) and Brooklynn Sedlak (2-for-3, 4 RBIs) each homered, respectively, to get two runs on the board. A big fifth inning saw some spark from the Cyclones, including a second homerun for Sedlak, but not enough for a comeback. Madelynn Larmon (1-for-2, RBI) also had an RBI double in that final inning.

GAME TWO
The Cyclones had a better hold on the Trojans in the nightcap, except for a rough six-run inning that dealt them a 12-4 loss.

All the Cyclone runs came in the second inning. Marissa Walsh (2-for-3) started with a single before advancing to second on a fielding error when Estelle Loth hit a grounder. Larmon walked to load the bases before Brialynn Mica (2-for-3, 3 RBIs) hit a three-run double to get the Cyclones ahead of the Trojans 3-2. Emma Hansen (1-for-3, RBI) hit an RBI single before the inning was over.
