Santa Fe (1-2) picks up their first home win in their first home game of the season against North Florida Prep 80-56. The win marks John Ritzdorf's first win as the head coach at Santa Fe College.
The Saints jumped out to a quick start leading North Florida Prep 48-26 at the break, before outscoring North Florida Prep 32-20 in the second half.
Three Saints scored in double figures, as Mike Drayton and Connor Morris both had 18 points. Karmello Branch was the third leading scorer with 16 points. Morris had a team leading four made three-point field goals, on a night where SF made just six total from behind the arc.
The Saints will stay at home for their next three contests. They are back in action Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM, as Tallahassee State College comes to town.
